This is a true story!
You can’t make up crazy stories from Hollywood.
Apparently, in 1982, Steven Spielberg hired J.J. Abrams at the age of 15, along with Abrams’ friend Matt Reeves, to restore his 8mm films.
Well, now it all makes sense. Their introduction came through an article in the LA Times. And imagine being a teenager and having your first job on your resume listing work for director Steven Spielberg.
J.J. Abrams went on to become a big-time writer/director/producer who is known for Lost on television, Star Trek films, and Cloverfield. He has a ton of credits since working for Spielberg.
Matt Reeves went on to become a writer/director/producer who is known for Felicity on television, Cloverfield, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. He also has other credits.
There you have it.
Go back to your teenage years and find a way to get Spielberg to hire you.
The doors swing open.
Your career will be set for life.
